Catalyst and Binders of the New Year

January 5, 2011

I want to start off by wishing all my Friends of Change a Happy and healthy New Year! Over the past month or so I have been away a bit with all the holidays; in this time I had a lot of time to think about what direction to take Incubation Studios. In just under a year we have grown to almost 200 Friends of Change and still growing. It shows me that in this world there are still people who want to make a difference and understand that even one person can create change and make the world a better place! Every one of you is a true inspiration to me and for that I thank you. I thank you for understanding that to give and to help others is one of the most caring things you can do; to think beyond yourself and think of another less fortunate. It is said:

“That no person stands as tall as when they bend down to help a child.”

I find this to be such a powerful statement and one that I believe in fully. We have to know that we cannot help everyone at once but that one by one we can and one by one we can change the world! One of my amazing Partners “HOW” has a program called “The Starfish Children”; this program is based off the premise that one by one we can create change, one child at a time.

In this New Year I want Incubation Studios to continue on its path of meeting new Friends of Change, Telling stories, and bringing people together.  I want Incubation Studios to be a place to “Incubate” ideas and stories, to help them grow and spread. I want to bring all these like minded people together and have a place to communicate and help one another with Creating Change Reactions, with each other’s knowledge, experience, and with each other’s stories. I want to introduce The Lianas, The Hillary’s, The Elizabeth’s to one another and to all of you and see how WE can help one another achieve our goals, share our ups and downs, the trials and tribulations and the ins and the outs. In today’s world there is a lot of “ME”, what can I do for “ME”, how can I better “ME” and how can I make more money for “ME”. It is a shame that there is so much of this; this is why I have offered my companies services for free. Marketing, the “essence” of it, is not the logo, not the shiny package; the big firm costing you a bunch of money “brainstorming”…it is the story. A story should not cost anything; we have been telling stories since cavemen drew on cave walls. Brainstorming should not cost money; this is a natural human action “thinking”. I want us to all gain knowledge from one another and help one another tell their stories. I will merely be a “catalyst” a “binder” and help in any way I can with any of the knowledge I posses and the people I know.

I have met some amazing people over the past year; Liana, Hillary, Elizabeth, Pastor Alex, Daria, Lily just to name a few. These amazing people have been such an inspiration and are doing amazing things in the world. I look forward to meeting even more people and would love to talk with every Friend of Change; to brainstorm, to share ideas, to tell stories, to laugh, and to help one another to make the world a better place. I encourage very one of you to get in touch with me! If you know anyone in need of the services that Incubation studios offer or know someone with an amazing story please send them my way. Share this note with the people you know, the more Friends of Change there are the bigger the change; “share” and “like” this or “suggest” it to a friend. Thank you for taking the time to read this and look forward to the New Year with all of you helping Incubation Studios grow  and help my amazing partners change the world and the change that we will create together!
